1951 Chevrolet pickup. 3/4 ton. 8 lug. 6 cyl. 4 speed. this truck is being relisted because of some crap bidders. i have finished all i can do to this truck. as it stands, it needs brake work in the rear and glass for the windsheild and doors to be a good driver for someone. the truck runs good with no smoke. only issue i can find is the vaccuum advance probably needs to be replaced. converted to 12 volt. all the guages work in the dash. All the exterior lights work but the markers in the front are converted to blinkers so you might want to add parklites somewhere in the grille. The wheels and tires are in pretty goodshape but are ugly as hell. the brakes work fine right now but they are old. only one of the rear brakes are working and both front. ive been driving it around the shop a little but i wouldnt recommend a long trip. I have the old glass to be used as a template for new ones. all window rubber is new from LMC trucks. even the door rubber, weatherstrip, vent glass, and antirattle has been replaced for you. just need the glass installed. this truck has a solid frame with no rusted out spots. The body is also very solid. patch panels are in the floors and a few other common spots, but all the rust repaired was repaired with new metal. There is clearly a ton of work invested into the paint.Its not perfect, but it will blow your mind regardless. The flames are all painted on and buried deep under PPG clear to make sure there are no jagged paint edges. we sanded and buffed some of it, but there is plentyof clear on there if someone wanted to do more to it. The bed has new stained and varnished wood on the floor and up the sides. This truck is very complete. The original wipers even work. not good, but did they ever? i need to sell this truck. I dont have the money to finish it, and dont see it coming anytime soon. Please dont bid if you have no intention on buying. i dont want to trade, and i wont ship overseas so dont bother asking or scamming. i have this listed on a friends ebay account because i screwed mine up a year ago and havn't got hte money to pay them yet. I do plan on using mine again, so please bear with me on the zero feedback and new user status. i can help a transporter or tow truck driver load the truck. it needs to be towed because it has no glass and I wouldnt drive far without getting the brake work done anyway.
