Normal.dotm 0 0 1 476 2717 West Coast Classics, LLC 22 5 3336 12.0 0 false 18 pt 18 pt 0 0 false false false West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and beautiful example of this very rare and highly desirable original southern California and since the year 2002, Las Vegas, Nevada, always garaged and rust free 1956 F100 Pick with the coveted rear 'Big Window' and a rebuilt Chevy 350 V8 engine matched with a turbo 350 automatic transmission with a B&M Sport Shifter, electronic ignition, a Holly High Rise Aluminum manifold and an Edelbrock carburetor ! In 1956 the F100 reached it's finest design. Many changes were implemented that make this truck the best and most desirable of the legendary 1953-56 series of F100's! It is arguably the coolest truck ever built, tough, solid, practical and ruggedly handsome! This may explain it's success when new and it's cult like following status as a collectable! The easiest way to recognize a '56 over the 1953-55 F100 models is by the cab with the slant front windshield pillars gone in favor of the more refined and highly desirable wrap around windshield leading the earlier models to be referred to as 'slant cabs'. The '56 cab design change led to all kinds of additional changes such as a more rectangular shaped vent window and of course different door windows and division bars from the 'slant cabs'. The '56 front grille and parking light assemblies are unique to '56 models and the air deflectors have a dished out area for the headlight bucket to have room. The dash gauge area also is arched on '56 models whereas the 'slant cabs' have flat dashes. '56 models had a new 12 volt electrical system and electric wipers. Rear tail lights were the shield type. The rarely ordered wrap around 'Big Rear Window' trucks are now highly coveted and very collectible amongst truck enthusiasts. This rust free show truck was originally sold to it's original owner in Canoga Park, California where it was reportedly always garaged until sold in 2002 to it's most recent Las Vegas owner where it continued to be garage kept. It was restored a few years ago and is truly a very striking example which also drives incredibly well. The truck bed has all new wood and as you can see, this particular example is still absolutely stunning and show ready with all new chrome including front and rear bumpers and engine components, it was obviously lovingly restored with absolutely no expense spared. This truck must be seen to be believed and driven to be fully appreciated - the rebuilt 350 V8 engine and the transmission is extremely strong and responsive with excellent oil pressure and no oil leaks and which sounds absolutely magnificent, the transmission shifts smoothly through the gears and the engine temperature always remains cool. The truck has been repainted in a striking Light Green color paint and the restored black interior is in excellent condition throughout. This must be one of the finest example's available of this highly collectible and most desirable 1956 year of the legendary F100 Big Window pick up, an original southern California example with no rust whatsoever of this rare turn-key ready daily appreciating, daily driving and daily head-turning all time classic American truck! The data plate reads: F10V6L (originally 1956 272 8 cylinder 2 barrel Light Duty carburetor engine Long Beach, California manufactured) -19059-5000-110-143-4000. Trans FOM-Rear Axle 3.73-Color AE (original color was Black and White) -Prod Code 29L-7467. For further information contact West Coast Classics through EBay.
