2000 F-450 XL, 7.3L powerstroke diesel. Upgraded front to 2005 style headlights/markers (not replaced because of an accident, grill and bumper are originals just painted body color). This truck was purchased new in Southern California as a cab and chassis and converted into a dually bedded over the road hauler straight from the dealer lot. It is equipped with upgraded automatic trans, billet torque converter, Gear Vendors under/overdrive unit, Transfer Flow fuel tanks (dual tanks that simultaneously feed without switching over- one 36 and one 38 gallon tank), Edge "Juice" programmer with "Attitude" display, 5" turbo back exhaust with stainless muffler. It has full trailer brake setup, 5th wheel/gooseneck hitch in bed, class 3 receiver under back. It is extremely rare to find this style truck. Factory 19.5" wheels (tires could use replacing- I do have some very nice used ones at additional cost). This truck was shipped from Arizona to Wisconsin in June of 2010 after it was repossessed from the original owner. It has only seen 100 or less miles of Wisconsin winter and is 100% rust free everywhere. I bought the truck with intent of hauling a 3 car trailer and have since decided that I need a smaller truck. The truck drives well with the exception of some tire vibration at 45-55mph (rear inners are pretty cupped). Since I purchased the truck it has smoked at idle and when cold. I had the Ford dealership run data tests on it and it will need one or two injectors replaced and/or the under valve cover wiring harness replaced. It does have a block heater and the glow plugs do work (starts in Wisc. winter even without being plugged in). The Ford dealership wanted ridiculous amounts of money to replace the injectors and harness so I held off not knowing if I was going to keep the truck. The speedometer works sporadically... sometimes it is pegged and sometimes it works as it should. The odometer still works at all times. I have another fully working gauge cluster that comes with the truck. The edge programmer is unplugged currently as the dealer mechanic recommended not using it until the injector issue is resolved.
