This is a replica Shelby Cobra. Registered as a 1965 Ford and including Historic License Plates. It has a 289 engine that runs strong and an automatic transmission. The car is in good shape and has a authentic aged patina making it look like a authentic Cobra. Meaning; this car it not perfect. it has a few nicks and chips, some rust on the headlight rings, and some corrosion on the mirrors, etc. all very strategic. ---- the car draws a crowd everywhere it goes. Even trained enthusiasts have to look at it really close because its not all perfect and new looking like most replicas. Super fun to drive!! (I don't know much of the cars history and the odometer is not working so the mileage is a guess) On Jan-27-11 at 10:58:04 PST, seller added the following information: Have had a bunch of questions about the bumpers. They are "quick jack bumpers" used as lift points on the cobra race cars of the era. Also, a plate on the Firewall says "Shelby American, Los Angeles, CA", I don't know about the chassis or suspension. And, she could use a pair of front tires. Something when in park you need to jiggle the shifter to get it to snap into drive. Works fine after that. Also the fuel gauge and dash lights do not work. ~~ Thanks for your interest!
