1958 Mercedes-Benz 190SL Convertible This car was first purchased by an American serviceman in West Germany in 1959. He brought it to the States and sold it in 1961 to a gentleman who kept it as a 3rd car for many years. In 1976 he had the car painted silver. He sold me this car in the early 80's. It was in great condition at the time and I drove it as a weekend ride. After a couple of years my wife and I divorced and I put the car in storage on my fathers farm. Over time the car has been exposed to the elements and something knocked a whole in the removable hardtop. When I put the car up it ran fine and the engine will still turn over although I have not attempted to start it. The transmission still shifts into each gear and the key still turns the ignition. The glass in the drivers door is broken. The soft top is not available. I am offering this vehicle for parts or restoration. Payment:Payment can only be made through PayPal.
