I am selling this wonderful 2 owner car for my fiancee'. We are saving up for the wedding and decided to sell the convertible. She bought the car 6/2000 with low miles from a local Ford dealer. The car has been a great car for her and never left her stranded. Has the coldest air conditioning I have ever seen on a car! In 2008, I talked her into getting some repairs and preventative maintenance completed since she planned to keep the car a while longer. 1. Goodyear Eagle GTHR Tires P205/65/R15 2. Replaced the Struts, Inner and Outer Tie Rods and Ball Joints 3. Wheel Alignment 4. Water Pump, Coolant Hoses, Thermostat, Coolant Flushed and Replaced 5. Battery 6. Transmission Fluid and Filter 7. Air Filter 8. Fuel Filter 9. Installed Super Bright Driving Lights 10. Oil and Filter every 5000 miles 11. Transmission Mount to reduce vibration 12. Serpantine Belt 13. Leaking Valve Cover Gasket 14. Brake pads 15. In 2006, she had the Catalytic Converter and Oxygen Sensor Replaced. 16. TODAY, Saturday 1/22/11 had the Oil, Oil Filter and Fuel Filter Replaced at the Dealer! The tires have 20K miles on them and still under warranty at Sam's Club. The battery is also still under warranty at Sam's Club. The tires have no un-even wear on them with plenty of miles left and the car tracks straight thanks to the new front-end and alignment. The car has low miles for the year and most of the miles have been highway miles to and from work. The paint is cracked a bit on the bumpers from people backing into it in parking lots. The passenger door has a small dent in the door trim protector. The hood has some scratches in one area from a rock off a dump truck and the wheels have some brake dust stains. The interior is in great conditon except for a minor stain on the seat from a spilt yogurt. All power windows and locks work along with the power seat. Air is ICE COLD! CD and Cassette work with no blown speakers. Comes with a car cover and spare serpentine belt even! Some curb rash on a wheel. The spare doughnut tire has never been used! The driver door lock has been popped by some jerk of a thief and no longer works with the key but the remote works great still. Comes with the original boot (used once!) to cover the top while it is down. SMOKE-FREE car! NO PETS ever! Has the optional cruise control and CD player. She has more than got her money out of this car since she bought it in 2000 so we are selling it cheap to pass a good deal along to someone during this sucky economy. On Jan-28-11 at 03:45:13 PST, seller added the following information: Hello Bidders and Wathchers, An interested buyer came to look at the car yesterday and loved it but he did have one concern. So I thought I should post it here to be fair to all other bidders and watchers. Last summer we paid over $400 to have a vibration repaired. they replaced the transmission mount and the vibration did go away. now their is a vibration again but not sure if from the transmission mount again or if a motor mount is wore out. the vibration occurs when the car is started and in idle, also at low speeds/idle speeds when in gear. i know that motor and transmission mounts do wear out over time and should be an easy fix. It does not affect the driving nor handling of the car, just shakes a bit when in idle or at low speeds. The car is fast, strong and looks great especially for the low price that we started it out at! Good luck and happy ebaying!
