Nice CJ 7 at great Buy it Now Price. Purchased jeep end of summer last year as toy to take to beach. Paid $6,000 knowing it needed further work. Previous owner installed rebuilt Chevy 350 (6/10) , new 4 barrel carb w/electric choke, with TH350 automatic. Starts right up and runs very strong. Body was stripped, rust repaired, and entire interior of car rhino lined to withstand elements. New bumpers, lights, wheel flares, step bars, roll bar cover, and new seats were installed. High quality bimini top was put on, and I have half doors that go with jeep also. Rides on 33 inch tires, and has nice lift for easy ground clearance. Here is list of things I have done over past several months - costing $4,623.70:1) New rear gear set, also new bearings, oil seals, frt and rear chunk kit. New front axle U joint, bearings, and seals. 2) New lock out hubs on front axle, easy to turn and engage, replaced front differential vent tube and put new seals and fluids.3) New steering shaft , and work on power steering pump. 4 wheel alignment on completion. All slop in steering taken out and goes down road tight and straight4) New turn signal switch and all lights working. Car does not have horn. If your state requires, you will have to rig one up5) New fuel sending unit, and all transmission cooler hoses replaced with new.6) Has new AM/FM CD player, with auxilary input for Ipod or MP3 . New speakers mounted in rear on side walls next to rear seat. Detachable faceplate. What Jeep needs still to be totally restored;1) electrics at gauge cluster need repair, fuel gauge not reading, and temp gauge not operational. Have new temp gauge in box that goes with truck. Oil pressure, speedo, and tack all operational. 2) Has leak at trans pan and transfer case plates. I have had in shop twice to be fixed, and there is still a gear oil leak . Will need to be fixed to be driven any distance. 3) rear tire has slow leak that needs air once a week. I am selling because I don't have space to work on at home, and not enough free time to run back and forth to various shops to do repairs. I have price way lower than what I have into it. I want to sell at great price, so someone who knows how to work on these can finish job and have a great looking Jeep at a reasonable cost. New paint is a nice kind of "steel or gun metal blue" that gets "thumbs up" everywhere you go. I have all receipts for work I have had done to Jeep. Listing on ebay so I don't have to deal with "test pilots" and no show appts.. Don't wait on this one, it will go fast!
