On Jan-19-11 at 12:51:51 PST, seller added the following information: Triple disc SunCoast Torque converter was installed with a billet input shaft and a updated valve body in 2009. This 'mod' is to handle the extra power from aftermarket injectors and the Edge Chip. $4600 + tax. Non-smoker...nobody has ever smoked in the truck I'm the second owner on the CafFax report because my father was the first owner. On Jan-19-11 at 15:11:56 PST, seller added the following information: On Jan-20-11 at 06:27:47 PST, seller added the following information: A similar vehicle sold last week on ebay. Item 120665612167 It is a good comparison to see the little extra money a vehicle can fetch after $20,000+ has been invested. On Jan-20-11 at 18:55:05 PST, seller added the following information: I've had several phone calls regarding any issues on the truck: The truck is mechanically sound. There is nothing it needs to drive properly right now. The steering was getting a little sloppy in 2008 so I replaced all the steering components. The truck drives great....straight as an arrow with a slight pull to the right (what it is supposed to do) In the near future (next year or two) I would replace the driveshaft with a 1 piece aluminum shaft (the u joint and yolk on the two piece have some play in it). The headlights that are installed are extremely bright but do not have a low beam. For $100 you can buy OEM headlights and they take about 15 minutes to change out and the low beams will work again. Also, on this year truck there is an electrical ‘glitch’ where the truck wants to shift out of overdrive at 65mph if you are drawing too much power (i.e big stereo). Right now I don’t have my Sub amp hooked up. If you want big bass, I would install a smaller 2 channel amp that doesn’t draw as much power. I still run the 4 channel amp. I love the sound, and I don’t have any electrical problems. It’s not a problem as long as you are aware of the issue....it's just a quirk that is common to every 99-01 Dodge Ram. The only other issue I have is a small leak with the A/C. I’ve brought it to 3 shops and they can never find a leak. Every summer I need to recharge the A/C....again, not a big deal. It blows cold for 5 months and then I don’t use it all winter.
