UP for sale a 1944 GPW WWII jeep Vin# 181094 with original data plates with vin# and year.When i purchased the jeep the title said 1943, for me to change the year to 1944 the jeep would have had to be inspected at DMV, i did not bother because the jeep was not road worthy at the time so i left it 1943. but i checked the vin build date and its a 1944. New parts as follows. 1.Beachwood canvas front and rear seat cushions and crash pads. 2.light switch 3.parking brake cable 4.leather shift boots 5.steel gas tank and sending unit. 6.cork gaskets on toolboxes and glove box. 7.originaltool set with canvas tool roll. 8.original jack with lug wrench. 9.5 new coker tires on combat rims. 10.new brake lines. 11.new brake lines. 12.new fuel filter housing. 13.new fuel pump. 14.new generator. 15.hoses and belts with correct clamps. 16.all new suspension leaf springs,bushings,shackles from beachwood canvas. 17.motor mounts. 18.windshield rubber gaskets. 19.6 volt coil,cap,rotor,points,wires and plugs. Many original F marked parts and bolts.Engine runs great.all four cylinders have good compression.adjusted valves,new valve cover gasket,new oil pan gasget.new oil lines.the engine is not original it was replaced in the 60,s.carburator was totally rebuilt but could use a new base throtle butterfly.rebuilt t90 transmission and transfer case.front and rear differentials in good shape.all oils changed to synthetics.I did not do a frame off restoration because the jeep had been in fairly good shape so i rebuilt it as a good authentic driver.the jeep needs little work to be purfect.needs a couple new floor braces as you can see in the pictures.the body is original.i,ve owned this jeep for 8 years,i recently purchased a new project so the jeep has to go.if you have any questions call and leave a message and i will get back to you as soon as possible 702-564-5572 or 702-218-0117. $500.00 deposit at the end of the auction.will help set up delivery.
