Vehicle Detail
Rust free totally AZ car. This is my 3rd or 4th Supercharged Mr2 restoration/conversion (I've done 5 or 6 N/A's as well so I lose track). This one is a lightweight coupe (no sunroof!) with crank windows and a newly rebuilt Supercharged motor and wire harness from an 89 Mr2. The car has been completely rebuilt, hand sanded and then resprayed with a Viper Yellow paint & new upholstered seats. The lightweight 85 tranny has been mated to the GZE motor but I will include the SC tranny if it's wanted. The car has roughly 2,000 miles on it since the rebuild. The engine has been rebored and fitted with new pistons, rings, bearings (all Toyota parts from Toyota Motorsports) and a refreshed head with a TRD head gasket. Cams are both HKS 256 intake & exhaust with an HKS valve train. Has TRD header with new stock SC exhaust.. Also has a large crank pulley but not sure what brand. Front rotors are slotted & drilled with bigger calipers & the shocks are TRD stiffer springs all around. New Kumho tires. I also have the clear rear sunscreen and the lower sideskirts but have not painted them because I like the way the car looks without them, but they will be included to the buyer of the car. The car runs great & whoever buys it is going to have a ton of fun driving it, especially on track days and road trips. Also a good commute car if you're looking for something to wake you up on your morning drive. I also have the stock radio, the gauges mounted in the stereo slot right now are the water temp., oil pressure, and oil temp. The oil temp is not currently connected but is an easy addition if you want to drill the oil pan. The engine also has an oversize crank pulley. I just read the Autocheck report (B.S, there are NO TITLE ISSUES) and here is the lowdown on the mileage and the "failed emissions" (previously). The dash instrument cluster has been swapped with the Supercharger instrument cluster which obviously had different mileage on it (Hence the different mileage # when the car was reregistered). How they got the "26,000" miles is beyond me (the sc cluster actually now shows 267,000, so they may have missed a digit?). Once the car was rebuilt I took it to be registered and it iniytially "failed" the emissions because of a faulty gas cap o'ring---not sure how I put 100,000 + miles on the car between the emissions station and the Auto Parts store to get the o'ring and then back to the emissions station? Might be a govt. accounting thing :) The car does have a CLEAN TITLE & is currently registered until Dec. 2011. The paint job is probably a 7 out of a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being "very good"). Trunk, engine bay, and door jams are painted yellow also. The pictures actually make the paint look better than I would say it really is---there are a couple of minor spots where the buffer went through the paint. My intention was to reprep the car & have it professionally sprayed using a new gallon of Viper Yellow but shops seem reluctant to use someone else's paint. I will include the paint with the purchase. The new seat upholstery is actually better than the pics indicate----the center section is a "linen" type cloth that looks like it has perforations but doesn't. Having said this, if anyone is disappointed upon viewing the car at pick-up I will gladly (ok not that gladly :) refund your deposit, no questions asked. Thanks for looking & good luck bidding. Negative or low feedback bidders will be deleted unless I hear from you first. I have to be in San Francisco next week (via Phoenix to L.A to San Francisco next week so if the buyer lives along that route I would consider driving the car out to you for the gas cost.
