This is a classic and I can’t count the conversations I’ve had about it with various folks in parking lots, the car wash, and even stop lights. I grew up in the time when families took to the road on great vacations in wagons like this. I spent over $3,000 after I got it to have my Mercedes mechanic fix everything that was needed. New shocks, ball joints, control arms, bushings, hoses, gaskets - the works. Then just before summer ended I spent $1000 putting in a new A/C compressor. Air blows cold. So I've done the major stuff and you can enjoy a well running car. I can email you a PDF of the repair invoices. I don't have any records of maintenance prior to my ownership. This is a classic, 123 chassis with very low miles. People seek these out and have been known to put well over 500k miles on them. The record is over 2 million! This drives well and I've been using it as my regular car. I get around 25mpg depending upon driving mix. It has the far back rear seat so you can carry 7 people. Options include: Chrome roof rack with cross-bars; All head rests; Sunroof (manual); Original radio, power antenna, owner’s manual and first-aid kit. Power windows and locks all work. The cruise control does not work. The engine has great compression with virtually no blow-by. Starts instantly even in cold weather. There is a block heater but I’ve not had to use it. Automatic transmission shifts smooth and the drive train is very tight. Ride is nice and the steering is solid but easy. I’m selling in as-is condition. Please email with any questions. It could use some general maintenance right now. For example, new belts. There is also a minor hydraulic hose leak as well as a small transmission leak.
