Up for sale is a one-owner, accident-free 1999 Ford Crown Victoria natural gas vehicle or NGV which runs on compressed natural gas or CNG ONLY. It is NOT bi-fuel car and cannot run on gasoline. Similar to item 170587138091 Vehicle is white with a silver gray interior but this is the civilian version of the Crown Victoria, this isn't a cop car. It does not have rear vinyl seats for special passengers. It has velour seats to match the front seats and door panels. The civilian version is just that - civilized! Unlike item 170587138091, this car never had to chase down the local bad boys. Not that it couldn't - this Crown Victoria has the same 4.6 liter V8 engine and heavy duty transmission of the Police Interceptors - it just isn't bare bones basic. No high speed chases so it has never been wrecked or damaged - substantially or otherwise. The CNG system is a 3000 PSI with an upgraded 3600 fill nozzle. With full tanks, this NGV is capable of 200-225 miles depending on quality of the fuel. Nationwide the price of of 1 gasoline-gallon-equivalent (GGE) of CNG fuel varies from $.55-$2.99. In DAL, TX it is $1.99. In SLC, UT it is $1.25, while in OKC, OK, it is $0.55! Extended range tanks are available and included at no extra cost with the Buy It Now option. Tanks are good for another year. It is unknown whether re-certification is possible or not. Vehicle has factory air-conditioning/heat, power options (steering, brakes, windows, door locks) traction lock rear differential, HD suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes, factory AM/FM radio, set of 4 good tires (225/60/16) and a convenience spare. For Californians - this NGV qualifies for the Clean Air decal which, for $8.00, allows solo drivers get in the carpool lane! For Utahians - this NGV qualifies for the tax credit up to $3000!
