***THIS CAR IS 20 YEARS OLD SO NO MARYLAND INSPECTION IS NEEDED IF REGISTERED AS A HISTORIC VEHICLE*** AWESOME CAR!!! Perfect body. Over $3800 in upgrades. Currently around 350HP (Dyno'd at Extreme Motor Sports 8 months ago). Purchased about 1 1/2 years ago. Drives GREAT. I personally do not know much about DSM cars (I just drive it), but here's what I do know combined with what Extreme Motor Sports told me about the upgrades on this car: *Rebuilt engine about 20,000 miles ago *Power Steering and A/C removed *Aircan removed High-flow intake and filter installed $125 *16G turbo installed - $700 *External wastegate installed - $250 *3' turbo back exhaust installed with high flow cat - $500 + $225 *Referb computer installed - $325 *DSM link logging software installed - $565 *boost gage installed - $75 *Turbo timer installed - $100 *550cc fuel injectors installed - $300 *High flow fuel pump & adjustable fuel pressure regulator installed - $150 + $125 *Front mount intercooler installed - $375 I believe I covered the majority of the upgrades on this car. Now for the problems with this car: *Idle surge after the car reaches operating temperture - common problem on these cars. I am being told it is a vacum hose leak and the throttle body could use cleaning *Left headlight motor arm comes loose from time to time and has to be snapped back into place - takes 2 minutes to snap it back *Tires need to be replaced soon - about 40% life left on tires My wife say's it is time to get rid of a few of my toys, so the Talon has to go. This is a great car. After a 1 second turbo lag, this car takes off like a bat out of H*LL. ALL WHEEL DRIVE so no spinning wheels when you are trying to go.
