Opening Bid Is My Reserve!!!!! I need this car out of here ASAP. Im moving out of the country, my loss could be your gain! One bid and it could be yours. 1970 Lincoln Continental I'm the third owner of this Lincoln. I bought it from a Lincoln Enthusiast from North Carolina about 11 months ago. He purchased it from the original owner from Washington State and drove it as a daily driver until I bought it. The gentleman I Purchased it from had the engine rebuilt at 55K miles. It now has 68,500. You see alot of Mark III's, but not alot of these. Certainly not this clean! It has the removable rear wheel skirts, which look awesome! It has the automatic headlight eye lids too. Details Ford Factory 7.4L 460 motor, Automatic RWD Exterior Condition Paint - Last owner had it repainted 10 years ago, still looks great! Has tons of shine left in it. It has some small, shallow scratches that have touch up paint, very minor. No major scratches, other than the dent. No Fading anywhere on this car, inside or out! Dent - There is a dent on the drivers side front quarter panel. (see pic) Unfortunately, an automatic gate opened into it a few months ago. Other than that dent, the body is Straight! It's never been in an accident. Chrome - Shines! I cant believe how this original chrome shines, all of it. Windows - Glass looks Great. the tint is peeling off on the drivers side window and the rear passenger window has no tint. Window trim - looks great, no pitting around the trim. Emblems - All emblems are clean, shiny and intact. Two small rust spots...(the size of a dime) No rust around the window trim or any of that. 20" wheels are clean. Tires have at least 60% life left. The wheels were on the car when I purchased it and will remain on the vehicle. I also have the original rims and hubcaps which will be included, along with the original shop manuals. Interior Condition Seats - Great Condition! There are no Rips, Seams undone or fading. They really look Great. Headliner - Perfect Door panels - Drivers side has 2 cracks where you grab the handle to close it. (pictured) The rest are perfect. Dash Board - Perfect, no cracks or fading. Carpet - Tear on the drivers side, mostly covered by the mat. Other than that...good condition. Power windows - All work! Power seats - Front, back, up, down, tilt...all works! The Car Runs, Drives and shifts great. All major components under the hood are original. I have replaced the alternator, the starter and some hoses. All new parts. I also have a new carburator (not installed) which I will include. Sounds good, not loud. I flew to raleigh NC from Atlanta and drove it back to south Ga with no problems. I also drove it to and from Atlanta (180 miles away) twice a month for about 6 months. The car hasnt been driven in a couple of months and it wont start. Last time I drove it I putted into the driveway...it needs gas. Turns over fine, the car runs great, just dont have time to get gas into it and mess with the carb to start it. If you know anything about cars...you could probably get it running in an hour. I don't know anything about cars and dont have time...my lack of mechanical skills could be your gain...the starting bid which is my reserve is less than half of what I have into it. NOTE: Speakers only work occassionaly, original speakers and wiring. The cd player powers on and plays, just not the speakers. Gas gauge does not work (gets 275 miles on one tank) could be a fuse, not sure. All the other gauges work. Wipers do not work, needs a motor. 100 bucks for the motor. I use rain-x. A/C works, just needs freon. Heat works. The car will be sold as is. I think I listed all the details about this car. If you have any more questions, ask me. David 404-276-8773
