Vehicle Detail
1989 Mercedes Benz 560 SEC - 1 family owned since NEW Purchased new by my mother back in 1989 (for over $80,000.00), used as a daily driver in New York and some winters in sunny Florida. I took ownership in January 2007 and did a ton of repairs since. Minor accident in October 1996, garbage truck brushed up against front right fender and passenger door, repairs done with OEM parts and looked as good as new. 2nd very minor accident,December 2007, at stop light and person behind me was not looking or paying attention (5 miles an hour) and bumped up into rear of car, only the bumper was hit, paint damage and scratches, did not even repair it, was not worth it. And unfortunately some jerk (just a week ago) pulling out of a spot in Queens backs up into the front of my parked car (I was not even in the car, it was parked) and cracks passenger side headlight and dents nose of bonnet (I'm still pissed). Otherwise the car is solid, no other accidents. With only 114,025 doucumented miles since new, this car has many more years to go. For sentimental reasons I was going to keep this car forever but sometimes you just have to let things go. Interior is worn but well maintained, everything works except clock, headliner in back sags. I have put alot of money into this car, and now I am done. Details of recent repairs since '07 to today's date are as follows: All of these repairs came to a grand total of $12357.40 1.
