I am putting my Challenger up for sale, I have owned this car for 21 years and now it must go, the car has been converted to a 1970 model and has custom touches here and there. however, it has not been hacked up in any way and all body work has been done and finished professionally. This is a very beautiful car that can rival any car at a car show. I will describe it as best as possible. 1973 body with disc brakes up front. Has been converted to 1970 model professionally, rear tail panel and all front clip has been installed. Beautiful arrow straight black paint with R/T hood and rear spoiler, front valance spoilers installed. I installed an R/T decal just to break up all the black. I have a right side mirror that is already painted and ready to be installed that I will include. Interior is well done in black vynil and cloth, has small autometer tach, and autogage oil, water and volt gage. New carpet is about a year old, also installed sound deadener under carpet. Engine is a 440: srp pistons, lunati cam 220@ .050; very driveable. Edelbrock 750 carb, Performer RPM, mildly ported heads, mallory ignition, Hooker ceramic coated headers. Like I said very driveable, I've had big cam, big carb engines making over 600 horsepower and it's not fun! Transmission is a 727 with a John Cope automatic valve body, completey rebuilt, hughes 2000 stall converter. Rear end is a 8 3/4 sure grip with 3:73 gears from Randy's ring and pinion. Wheels are 18" Centerline 18 x 7 and 18 x 9.5 rear that are about a year and a half new, all tires are like new and match. Nitto 225/45/18 front and 295/45/18 rear. Suspension: this is a big one since we all know how these cars handle from factory. Suspension has been upgraded with polyurethane control arm bushings, KYB shocks all the way around 1" torsion bars, 1 1/8 solid front sway bar, rear super stock springs. I like to tell people it now handles like a cop car, and it does ride very nice and solid. I am setting the selling price at the lowest amount I will take for it. However, car is for sale locally and reserve the right to terminate auction at any time. $500 deposit due upon succesful bidder within 48 hours.
