1971 Chevy Chevelle - "REDUCED PRICE" LAST AUCTION ON THIS CAR!! After 2 unsuccessful auctions, this will be the last... I can not justify selling any "cheaper" than this, ever!! ...the "buy it now" price is "the deal of the year" (on a car like this) for some lucky Buyer!! "Sweet Daily Driver w/300+HP" (Chevelle Malibu with SS badging & some SS features) Very nice piece of automotive history that you can drive daily and “Turns Heads”! This car is dependable and ready to “take a trip” across town, or across the Country! Classic Muscle car in great shape with decent gas mileage and dependability! Have a very "Happy New Year"! VIN: 136371392868 Title: Clear – No Leanholder Background: I purchased the car from a collector in Myrtle Beach, SC in September of 2007 for $14,000 cash. I flew down to Myrtle Beach, picked up the car, then drove the car all the way back to Columbus, Ohio (where I was living at the time). Since then, I have moved back to Michigan and have happily stuck another $13,000 (approximately) into the car over the last 3 years. The car has been stored/parked inside garage 99% of time. I know realistically that I can’t get out of it, what I have into it…but I know that this car is worth every penny it’s listed for. It’s a great looking car that will “turn heads”! In addition, It’s a very “dependable car (daily driver) that gets decent gas mileage (around 19Hwy) and still pushes 300HP/365ft.lbs Torque. I have put a total of 6,734 miles on the car since I purchased it in mid 2007 (only 5,239 miles on New Engine!) I hate to sell this car but I’m in the process of starting a new business and need the capital….I’ll have to get over it and maybe buy another "Sweet Chevelle" in a few years. I Look at it this way for now, my loss is someone's else's gain! Shipping/Delivery: The lucky winner of this car can have the Car shipped at the buyers expense (all details of getting the car to your location is up to the buyer), but why have it shipped when you can drive it home yourself! Engine: New in June 2008, “ONLY 5,239 Miles on Engine” (See Engine Spec Sheet Attached) Engine has been “broken in and maintained” with a great deal of love and care!! New 350 V-8 Class II Chevy Engine pushing 300HP / 365ft. lbs of Torque Edelbrock Dual Plain Intake Manifold w/ Original Holly 4 Barrel 650cfm Carb (Built by Jasper Performance – installed in June of 2008 – 5239 miles on New Engine). New Fuel Pump New Chrome Alternator New Water Pump Headers into New Dual Exhaust w/Flowmaster Mufflers and Chrome Chevelle Tips. Gets approx 18 MPG, depending on driving style! Transmission: Turbo 350 Automatic 3 Speed Transmission (rebuilt in Sept 2007) w/Horseshoe Shifter. Rear End: 10 Bolt Rear End w/373 Gears. Interior: Great Shape and Everything Works! Seat Covers come with car but are only there to keep the Original Seats clean and in good shape. Paint has some bubbles above trunk. Also some small bubbles over rear deck, small spots on roof and one chip the size of a dime on the hood. Car was re-painted prior to me purchasing in 2007. Chrome window trim is dimpled around driver side door. Little paint overspray on drive side window. For a 40 year old car (well, almost 40 anyway) it’s in excellent condition but not so perfect your afraid to drive it. It’s a perfect “daily driver”! Note: I have most of the receipts confirming the above parts available and shall furnish them to any buyer. Unfortunately one receipt covering a great deal of work/money (around $4,500 worth of parts and labor) was lost back in late 2009. The work was done in October of 2007 in Columbus Ohio, the Garage later was sold/closed and I was not able to obtain a copy of the parts & labor receipt for the following items: (Transmission Rebuild, Steering Components, Fluid Changes, Detailed Inspections, etc, etc.) $14,000 “Serious Buyers Only”! "VERY LOW RESERVE PRICE FOR A CAR LIKE THIS...I CANNOT JUSTIFY SELLING IT ANY CHEAPER, EVER!! In any case, all funds MUST clear before the car will be released. Local inspection is welcomed. Car is sold “as-is” and no warranty is made other than what is stated in this Auction. I reserve the right to end the Auction early as the car is also for sale locally. Thanks for looking and best of luck placing the winning bid on this sweet car!
