Vehicle Detail

Truck does not run. I will make every effort to list everything that is wrong with the truck. The truck ran good when I bought it in July 2010. The truck does not run. For your consideration, a 1978 Dodge W200 Power Wagon for sale. Truck was purchased from previous owner in July 2010. Previous owners had truck since it was purchased new in 1978. Passed down through family until I bought It. Truck was driven from Arizona to Louisiana in 2008. It has a 400 Big Block engine that has been rebuilt by previous owner in the past 3 years. It has new distributor. Truck ran and was able to be driven up to 2 months ago. For some reason it will not crank now. The truck should be easy to get running. I can tell you that I have trouble shot the ignition system. After voltage reaches the distributor it does not continue to the plugs. It also has a new cap, rotor, ballast, voltage regulator, battery, ignition switch, coil and battery, all are installed within the last month. The truck turns over great but wont crank, so now I am selling it. It has dual fuel tanks, however the rear tank is cracked and hasnt been used in years. The transmission leaks from the pan. The engine has oil leak from the oil pan aswell. The engine has an aluminum intake and 4 barrel carburator. It also has dual exhaust with headers. The passenger side header is warped so it leaks when running. The truck ran fine and had lots of power until it just decided not to crank. The manual transmission shifter indicator does not line up with the actual transmission setting, in other words when you put it in reverse your probably in nuetral. I started removing rust and priming sections of the truck until it quit running so that is why it has multiple primer spots. The bed has a long gash and rust on the passengers side. The passengers front fender is new inside and outside but needs painting. The title is a salvaged title due to the vehicle wreck that originally damaged the fender. The front bumper is custom made of heavy steel and has a wench attached as well. I have not used it because the hand controller is missing, previous owner lost it but said it works. The rear bumper is welded on permanently. The interior has a newer Dodge bench seat out of a 2000 something model. Its comfortable but i would replace it because it takes up alot of room. the truck needs new carpet and new dash aswell. The rear jump seats are in the truck but I have never used them. I was able to find newer interior pieces for the rear of truck and a better glove box cover aswell. They are in really good shape and go with the truck. It has a CD player and aftermarket 6x9's installed. The truck is not lifted, it has 35 inch tires that need to be replaced with 33's. When turning the drivers tire will rub against the steering column because it is too large without having wheel spacers. The truck is in rough shape but the 4 wheel drive does work and it has Dana front and rear ends. It has alot of potential or would be great to part out what you need. If it was running I would keep it. I purchased the truck for $1,800.00 and spent another $500.00 in parts. Please contact me with any questions and i can send more pics as well if requested.
