Up for auction is my pride and joy. This is one of only ~350 MR2s sold in the US in 1995. This is even more rare as it has the hardtop roof. I bought this car in 2005 and since then I have put some 20K miles on it. I used the car for occasional street driving and track days or autox. Below I’m outlining the details of the car: Body: Very low miles at 90K - The car is stock and looks stock. It is in great condition with no dents or scratches to speak of. The front bumper lip has a couple of tears on the lower section. This is due to me hitting a couple of cones during autox sessions. The paint oxidizes often given that Toyota did not clear coated the red cars. So, this requires regular waxing to keep shiny. The rear roof molding and wing are starting to show wear – see pictures. Interior is in great condition with seats, panels and dashboard in great shape with no tears or cracks. There is a bit of wear of the driver's carpet as seen in the pictures. This car drives beautifully and truly handles like a dream - it is also very comfortable for steet driving and everything in the car works - the stock 3 in 1 stereo system works fine and sounds good, but the CD is a bit temperamental and sometime requires a couple of tries to get the CD going. Modifications: NOTE: All modifications have been professionally performed and designed with handling in mind. Except for headers, the engine and overall driveline is completely stock. Newer poly bushings all around from Twosrus H&R Coil Over suspension with adjustable height TRD front and rear Sway bars Newer (last 2 years) tie rods and ball joints Tein Camber plates. Short ratio steering pinion Sparco steering wheel Master Cylinder brace TRD Strut Tower brace Passenger and driver airbags have been removed (for autox and track days) – they do come with the car in case the new owner wants to reinstall them. The tires are new mounted to the stock wheels. I have included as many pictures as possible to make sure you can get a really good idea about the overall condition.
