I'm selling my gorgeous truck so I can buy a Diesel. Ladies Welcome!!! You can look til you're blue in the face and you won't find a sharper-looking 2001 Dodge Quad Cab than this one. In fact, before I bought it this summer I must have looked at well over 1,000 trucks before settling on this one. Like with any 11 year old vehicle it has 3 or 4 fingernail-sized parking lot dings on it, but NOTHING that detracts from the beauty or value of the truck. Straight from Plano, Texas come this awesome Dodge 4x4. It's never been smoked in and looks as good in person as it does in my high resolution photos. Being from North Texas there isn't a rust spot on the entire underside of the truck, OR on the doors or cab corners. For that reason I had it Ziebarted and completely undercoated on November 10th, so it would stay that way for years to come, at a cost of $419. Just to show it's origin the Texas state inspection sticker is still on the windshield! The truck is a heavy/half ton with a straight front axle and the big, 14 bolt rear end with 3.54 gears and a 4 inch lift kit. The truck has a 360 V-8 that uses absolutely NO oil and will get an honest 16+ mpg on the highway if you don't run the hell out of it. The transmission is a 4 speed automatic that just had $580 worth of shift solenoids installed in it, along with a complete trans. service with new fluid, new filter and Lucas transmission additive. While we were servicing the trans we also installed a 12in. x 15in. (18,000 gvw) transmission cooler in front of the A/C condenser. Earlier this Summer I also had an extra leaf added to the rear suspension, because I wanted the truck to sit up a bit in the rear to improve it's attitude and cargo capacity. This truck is setup the right way and has all the equipment to prove it. Everything you see on the truck is included with your purchase, EXCEPT the tool box and my power cable and plugin for my trailer winch, that ends at the rear bumper.....and of course my personal belongings inside the truck will stay with me! CALL ME ANYTIME WITH QUESTIONS AT 815-973- 8128 Here's what's on the truck: - Adult-owned, rust-free Texas-born 2001 Dodge Quad Cab 4x4. - Truck color is the factory Patriot blue. - The ODO just turned 115,000 miles today.. - 360 V-8, with 245 horsepower. - Oil changed every 3,000 miles with Shell Rotella 15-W-40. - 4 speed Automatic. - 3.54:1 ratio differentials - Floor-shift manual transfer case. - Cold air intake. - Keyless entry. - Remote start. - Aftermarket alarm system. - Back-up camera with color monitor!!! - Engine was professionally tuned up on 12/28/2010 with new platinum plugs and plug wires- . - Transmission was serviced and trans cooler installed on 10/10. - 2006 Dodge 20 inch wheels with new Firestone Destination tires. - 3 inch lift kit. - New front brakes and shocks installed in April of 2010. - Chrome tubular side steps. - Full-sized spare tire. - Drop-in plastic under-the-rail bed liner. - Tinted windows all the way around. - 50 watt Kenwood AM/FM stereo/CD with remote control. - 60/40 split bench seat with fold-down center console. - Power windows. - Power door locks. - Power/heated mirrors. - Tilt wheel. - Cruise contol. - Factory A/C. - Reese 10,000 pound trailer hitch. - Prodigy trailer brake controller. - (VERY clean) Factory floormats. - There are no cracks in the dash, but the dash bezel (surround) has a crack on top of it, due to someone installing it wrong when the radio was installed. Easily repairable. CONDITION REPORT Paint & body: - Before I bought the truck it apparently had been hit somewhere on the left/front and was repainted, from where I can see on the hood, left door and right door. The only notable spot is where they failed to remove the adhesive for the "1500" emblem on the passenger’s door before they painted it. This is only visible if you REALLY look for it and I have a full set of "1500", and "Magnum V-8" emblems I bought off Ebay, that go with the truck. Paint-wise the rest of the truck looks very nice. SEE PHOTOS. Interior: - The windshield wipers, cruise control, power windows, power door locks, keyless entry, power mirrors, remote starter lighting systems and car alarm all work as they’re supposed to, with no problems. - Unlike almost all Dodges this one has a crack-free dash, but FACE of the dash that you’d remove to work on the radio is cracked to the right of the steering wheel. SEE PHOTO. - There is a seam separation on the passenger’s seat, on the right/rear of the floor of the seat where it meets the hinge. -- At that same location, down at the bottom of the right/rear corner of the Pass. seat there’s a spot on the carpet where it appears that some sort of chemical ate the carpet. This is about 6x2 ½ inches, but it’s not completely through the carpet and it never bugged me enough to replace the whole front carpet. - I don’t smoke at all and NO ONE has sat in this truck since I’ve owned it with a cigarette in his hand! The previous owner of the truck was a 31 year-old Hispanic family man, who also didn’t smoke. - The switches for the map lights in the overhead console have never worked since I bought the truck, but the dome light over your right shoulder works properly. - The headliner is in nice shape, with no sagging, or other problems. Other than the spot on the right side carpet and the seam separation the interior is invery nice shape and very comfortable. The factory floor mats look like new, with no discoloring. - The 50 watt Kenwood CD/Stereo sounds awesome and comes with a remote control. I highly suspect that the truck’s speakers have all been replaced, because you can crank up the volume all the way and not hear any distortion! - Like some Dodges of this vintage the truck’s heater system wants to drift up to the defroster vents when you pull a hill, or get on the throttle hard. It still heats good and the A/C blows ice cold, but I don’t like surprises and I know YOU don’t either! Mechanical: - The truck has a strong-running 360 V-8 that has NO blowby, or funny noises. It was just tuned up last week and a new set of injectors is being installed in the engine this week. - The transfer case goes in and out like it should and the 4 wheel drive has been used without fail during our snowy December and the transmission shift like it should. - - This summer we serviced the trans, flushed ALL the fluid out of it, removed the troublesome Chrysler check valve in the tranny cooler lines and added a 12inch x 15 inch transmission cooler in front of the AC condenser. I also installed a cold air intake kit on the engine. - The exhaust has no muffler and runs through the catalytic converter and has a nice "Flowmaster" sound. - The front brakes and shocks were replaced just before I bought the truck last June or July. - When I bought the truck I had an extra leaf added to the rear suspension to make it sit up nice and give it a little more cargo capacity. At that time the truck also received a full, 4 wheel laser wheel alignment. - New shift solenoids were just installed in the trans at a cost of $580, along with another new filter and fresh fluid. -- When they installed the new tires a couple months ago I had them inflate the tires with nitrogen to keep them maintenance-free. - I JUST had the engine tuned up last week, with new plugs and wires and had a lube/oil & filter done on it too. - The winch cable that holds up the spare tire is broken, but the full-sized spare IS included and is in the trucks’ bed. - The jack/lug wrench/spare tire winch kit is complete and located under the rear seat.
