Up for auction is my 2002 Mini Cooper. It has a 5 speed manual transmission which in my opinion is a much better way to drive this vehicle. The car includes the following options: Upgraded British Racing Green w/ white roof tires and mirror option Automatic climate control – just set the temperature and forget about it, no need to constantly adjust dials! Air Conditioning Air Conditioned glove box – ok, it’s unusual so I had to put it on here. My wife and I used this on a road trip and it kept our sodas very cool! Dual panoramic moonroofs – one of the neatest things about this car is how open it feels Remote entry Power Windows Power Locks Power Mirrors Cruise Control Tilt Wheel Leather dual tone seats Heated driver and passenger seats Folding rear seats Front and side airbags Trip computer for viewing average fuel economy and distance remaining in fuel tank Replacement AM/FM/CD/MP3 radio – many Mini’s do not have an input for an IPOD or other MP3 player. This replacement unit sounds better than the factory Mini radio and has an MP3 Auxiliary input. It also plays CD’s that have MP3’s on them which means one CD can hold over 100 songs! I still have the factory Mini Radio which I will include to the winner of the auction. Upgraded interior badges Center armrest with storage – an almost non-existent option. Have you ever driven a car for a distance without a center armrest? This is very nice to have. Tires are less than 6 months old. They are OEM Yokohama tires that match the Mini specs. 4 replacement tires will run you well over $500-$600 if you’re comparing this car to other Mini’s that might need new tires. Full synthetic oil change less than 500 miles ago – so you’re ready to go with no immediate maintenance. NJ inspection is good through July 2012 The car runs and drives great! I’m sure you’ve heard it 1000 times if you’re looking at Mini’s but they drive like go-carts. The interior is also surprisingly larger than you would expect. The only negatives about the car are some minor dents and scratches on the exterior. The worst is a dent about the size of a quarter and scratch that are close to each other on the passenger door. Both were there before I purchased the car so I don’t know what they’re from. I took a close-up picture so you can see what I’m referring to. There are also 2 very small chips in the windshield that were also there before I purchased the car. They did passed NJ State inspection as the inspection rep said they were properly filled/repaired. And for reference, a new windshield would cost about $200 installed. I just never thought it was worth it. The interior is in really good shape. There is some minor wear on the driver’s seat but no tears or rips. Overall this is a great little car and is ready to drive anywhere. In fact, we just got back from a 1,200 mile road trip a few months ago! Please let me know if you have any questions or if you would like to view/drive the vehicle before bidding.
