Vehicle Detail
This is a beautiful, unmolested example of a 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible that you can drive and enjoy the day that you get it. This car will bring you and the family years of top down cruising! If you have been looking for a true original stock classic convertible, this is a great car. I think you will have a difficult time finding a nicer, cleaner car especially for the money. It is a California car and the body, floorboards, frame, and trunk pan are all in very nice condition. The paint is excellent and has a nice finish. It is light yellow with white soft top and white interior. The body is very straight. The doors close nicely. The floorboards are beautiful and have no rust, no repairs, and no undercoating. The trunk pan is also excellent and extremely solid. You won't find one this clean back East. If you are looking for a Hot Rod, this is not it! It is completely stock. It is factory right down to the original AM radio (that works) and the original painted-to-match steel wheels with original hubcaps and whitewall tires. Power steering and power top. The car runs and drives very well. It is smooth and has a surprising amount of power. It is one of 562 made in 1967 with the 250 c.i. six cylinder. Before you write it off as being underpowered and that you have to have a V-8, I am positive that the first time you drive the Cutlass you will be pleasantly surprised and not give it another thought. It is whisper quiet and runs far, far too nicely to cut it up and install a big block. Although if you already have your 455 ready to go this could be an outstanding platform to build your dream Pro Touring ride or build your 442 clone! It has a new fuel pump and fresh tune-up. The brakes were also just re-done. The bumpers and chrome are in good shape. The interior is in nice condition. The seats and door panels are good. The dashpad has no cracks. The white convertible top is in excellent condition. The back window is nice and clear. It goes up and down easily with the push of a switch. I also have the boot for it when the top is down. The engine runs rich and the only immediate attention is a carb rebuild/replacement (part is $200) and small dent in right rear tail fin and slight blisters too. Other than that, the car is solid and will only appreciate in value. Why put your money in the bank when you could have a solid appreciating investment to enjoy with the family. Brakes, hoses replaced and engine and transmission run strong. Car does not leak or burn oil. Serious buyers only please. I am located in Palm Dessert and Van Nuys if you would like to view the car. 15% deposit due within 24 hours of the end of the auction, balance due within 2 days of the end of the auction.
