OK. Third time is a charm. This will be the last time I list this on Ebay. If you want it now is the time to buy. If it is not sold I am keeping it. Up for sale is a very original unmodified 1976 Porsche 914 2.0. White with Black interior. 55725 Miles. Good condition inside and out as well as mechanically. Not a trailer queen but very nice. It is a daily driver that is a lot of fun but it is in very good condition. Starts up every time since I've owned it. Has a lot of power and handles great. 1. Exterior - Paint - Original paint is crackling in a couple of areas due to age. I would say the car is a 10 footer. Looks great from 10 feet. Doors open/close as they should. Windows roll up and down with ease. Locks work. Windshield has a couple of very minor chips due to rocks hitting it. Front trunk opens and is in good shape. Rear trunk needs one hinge tack welded. Engine lid works fine. New porsche letters installed on engine lid. Electronic trunk release works. Headlights work. Fog lamps not hooked up but are there. Not sure if they work or not. Front & rear turn signal lenses in good shape. Rear Porsche reflector in good shape. Rubber bumpers in good shape. Targa top is in good shape and doesnt leak. Windshield wipers work. Paint has some scratches. Car is not perfect but it does look good for its age. Perfect car for the person who wants to drive it and have fun. It is a good candidate for restoration. Very straight body and all door and trunk gaps are great. 2. Interior - Everything works as it should. Still has original 8-track that works. Lights work. Radio works. Seats have some parts where the seams are seperating but otherwise tilt/move forward and back with no problem. Door skins look great. Windows roll up and down with ease. Center console with gauges works fine and is in great shape. Dash in excellent condition. No cracks. Steering wheel needs to be recovered. Carpets are original and in good shape for their age. Turn signals work. Bright lights work. Fans work. Heat works. No a/c. 3. Mechanical - Engine is very strong doesnt smoke. Transmission shifts very good. Clutch is good and tight. Brakes work great. Steering is super tight. I would say the car is a 9 out of 10 mechanically. Original fuel injection. Gas tank was taken out sanded and refinished and looks new. Has K&N air fiter for increased performance. Still have original air cleaner and will come with the car. As with just about every other air cooled engine it does leak a small amount of oil but nothing major. Tires and rims are in excellent shape. Tires have about 3000 miles on them. Riviera rims with few blemishes. 4. Rust issues - This porsche has been garaged since I've owned it and never driven in the rain since I've owned it. However it does have rust in the usual places. Rear floorpans near engine wall will need to be repaired. I have the replacement parts for all necessary repairs. Other than the rear floorpans the car is in the great solid shape. Car is fine to drive without the repairs so I havent ever had them fixed. I bought the car in this condition. It has been a joy to own and really fun to drive. 5. Payment - A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due at the end of this auction. Car must be paid for in full within 7 business days. Shipping arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer but I can help get the car ready for shipping and will try my best to help out if I can. As far as payment, cash in person/or certified funds are ok. Car and title will not be released until all funds clear. Please do not bid unless you intend on paying for the car. Please have all finances ready for this purchase in advance. I will hold the car for 7 days after auction. If it is not paid for it will be relisted and the $500.00 deposit will not be refunded.
