This is one of my all time favorite BOW TIE cars from the sixties and one of the very best looking cars Chevy ever built; the 1966 Chevy NOVA II muscle car classic. I am listing this car for a friend of the family and due to poor health of my friends Dad, the car is being listed for sale.. This was a Father and son car build and meticulously customized over a 10 year period. The car has only been driven about 9 miles since the new big block 482 installation among a host of improvements. The photos were taken on JANUARY 1st 2011 which is he day of this posting. The photos speak well for the vehicle .It has had a recent appraisal at over $32,000 , so someone will be getting a great buy! It is a STUNNER !! It is a regular street car that drives on pump gas though it is extremely fast! It runs and drives fantastic. the car is very tight and it has no rust on the body. The car was painted over 10 years ago and the paint is shiny and nice but not perfect. There is no fading in the paint finish. It has always been garaged.To make this a show car, a super high end paint job would be of choice. The car has no leaks and is very solid. The car does show excellent regardless. I am just being picky. TRANSMISSION---> -700 R4 Transmission with 10 inch 3000 stall converter, also custom blue plate clutches. - B & M Shifter Pro Stick REAR END AND SUSPENSION----> 8 1/2 in Chevy housing Auburn traction lock center section - Moser 33 spline axles with c clip eliminators -Moroso Tric Springs and Lakewood shocks -all new bushings on suspension -Custom made super heavy duty DRIVESHAFT INTERIOR-----> -Custom interior with stereo ,also with multiple billet items throughout. -Stainless fuel cell and battery box - Custom Billet Dash with AUTOMETER Gauges Plus much more. The car was built to accomodate 1500 HP. It was also built to run on pump gas and comfortable to drive on the streets.
