Vehicle Detail

Hello and thanks for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering trade in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. Buying from me can save thousands over shopping at a dealership by cutting out the fancy lot, salesmens commission and all the other expenses that end up being paid by you. I list all of my vehicles with NO RESERVE which makes this the closest to wholesale buying as a non licensed person can get. I test drive each vehicle so that I can tell you exactly how it looks, runs and drives. I describe all of my vehicles honestly and to the best of my ability. An administrative fee of $99 is added to the final bid of each auction. Please ask all questions before you place a bid. I am happy to answer any question EXCEPT "what is your buy it now". I do not end auctions early so please don't ask me to. Today I have a 1995 Chrysler Town & Country van. It is the extended wheelbase version offered in dark green with tan leather. This van is in pretty good shape compared to most you see out there. There is some minor paint fading on top of some of the plastic trim and some scratches here and there but nothing horrible. There is a small rust spot about the size of a quarter on the right rear fender. Overall this is a good looking van for its age. It is PA inspected through 7/2011 and the tires have plenty of rubber left. Inside, this van is unusually clean for the year. The digital dash works perfectly. The Infinity stereo sounds good, too. It has front and rear air and heat which work perfectly. It's actually really cold in my warehouse so I am typing this entire listing in one of the rear seats all nice and warm, lol. The tan leather is in good condition throughout. This van has the very desirable rear captains chair configuration which make it a seven passenger van. There are a million cup holders and tons of storage pockets everywhere! The interior is trimmed in wood which looks great. The drivers seat is power as well as the windows, locks and mirrors. This van still has the original factory remote enrty which still works perfectly. All the seats are removable and even with the seats all in, there is plenty of storage room thanks to the longer wheelbase. The interior is truly in exceptional condition. Mechanically, the engine is in amazing condition. It starts right up and runs smoothly and quietly. There are no ticks, knocks, taps and NO SMOKING from the tailpipe! The big V6 makes plenty of power. The engine holds perfect temperature and oil pressure. There is a transmission issue which I was unaware of until I drove it home. It appears to have permanently chosen second gear as its only forward gear. It goes into reverse fine but when you move the selecter to any forward gear you seem to only have second gear. It does drive. In fact, I drove it home with second gear only. It will do about 50 mph at 4,000 rpm (and still kept a cool engine temp). I don't work on cars...I just buy and sell them. It could be something stupid or maybe just need a flush or it could need another transmission. I know I'm gonna lose my shirt on this one but hanging on to cars isn't my thing. Sometimes you just have to man up and take a hit...so here it is. Parts can't be too much...they made a billion of these vans. Besides the trans issue, this is truly a remarkable van. It's actually so nice I was gonna give it to my wife who's been after me for a van but I just don't have time to fix things like this. Our loss is your gain I guess. It's obvious someone took really good care of this van from the condition of the interior to the manuals still in the glove box and still having the original remote. My guess is they had it for a long time and when the trans acted up they just got a new one. Thanks and good luck bidding.
