Just bought a van ... So its time to put the truck on the chopping block .. I bought this truck new in 2004 and workout of it until a few months ago . The radder rack is only 6 months old and can be removed easily. The tool box is 8 months old and in great condition other then the keys are missing. On the body- There is a spot on the hood where the ladder came off the ladder rack and hit the front and damaged it. (See Pic) There are some spots on the front bumper where there was some off road damage and all sorts of dings and dents on the sides . Its a work truck ..... The oil has been changed every 5000 miles and never had any motor problem's. On the inside ... The front seats are in pretty rough shape. Driver's side is torn and there was some paint spilled on the passenger side. The front carpet needs to be shampooed and the passenger side floor mat has some weird sticky stuff on it. (Tried to remove) and the cd player was broken so i just bought one on ebay and installed it.. Its locked and needs to be taken to the dealership to be unlocked. But it's under warranty to work. The on the dash that shows what gear you are is very dim and its hard to see during the day. Its been a great truck and is not a 4 wheel drive ... Both 2500 and 3500 come in a choice of regular cab, an extended cab with rear-hinged back half-doors, and a Crew Cab with four full-size front-hinged doors. All can be ordered with front bucket seats or a 40/20/40 split bench. The extended and Crew Cab include a three-person rear bench. HD 3500s come only with an eight-foot cargo box; 2500s offer a 6.5-foot box as well. All 3500s have dual rear wheels on each side. All models have standard dual dashboard airbags and antilock 4-wheel disc brakes; some offer GM's OnStar assistance system. Base engine is a 6.0-liter V8. Optional are an 8.1-liter V8 and 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel V8. The base engine teams with 5-speed manual transmission or optional 4-speed automatic with Tow/Haul mode. The two larger engines have a 6-speed manual or optional Allison 5-speed automatic with Engine Grade Braking, an electronic feature that makes an automatic downshift when descending steep slopes. Newly optional on LS and LT models for '03 are satellite radio, a rear-seat entertainment system for Crew Cabs, and power-extending camper mirrors. Silverado HD is similar to GMC Sierra HD.
