Vehicle Detail

1966 Porsche 912 You are looking at a 1966 Porsche 912. A few modifications were done here and there, she's ready for a trackday, or driving on your favorite twisty stretch of road... or just to your local coffee shop. Definitely not stock, but a lot more fun to drive, this might be the Porsche for you. Exterior She was painted several years ago with a lesser quality paintjob. She looks good from 10 feet away, which is all that I require from my cars (and women). The body is relatively straight, with no history of severe accident damage. The decals are new, both on the rockers and the decklid. All lights, trim pieces, lenses and mouldings are original to the car. All glass is original to the car with the exception of the passenger side glass, which is Lexan. This was the previous owners attempt at a start to save weight. Another correct passenger side door piece of glass will be included with the car. Wheels are painted silver, and look great with new tires installed - less than 150 miles on them. Interior Interior is just the basics... and I hope you like black. Front seats are original to the car, and in great condition with original upholstery. Rear seats were removed to save weight, and will be included. Door panels were covered in basic black vinyl, as well as the tunnel section. A speedometer, tach, and your inner racer are all that riding with you... although there's a passenger seat for the times when you feel the need for company. Mechanics Powered by a Type1 1835cc dp engine with less than 150 miles since being built, she drives great, with a lot of power. Carburetor is new, and tuned to perfection. The 1835 is mated with a late model Type1 4 speed transmission... she shifts great. A custom engine hanger was fabricated to mount the engine, along with custom transmission mounts. The engine/trans were raised approx. 2" for additional clearance in the back - she's dropped approximately 3" front and rear by adjusting the stock suspension... no cutting involved. Rebuilt stock calipers and discs up front with new pads, new Type1 calipers, rotors and pads in the back. No leaks, no smoke, no funny noises... just driving.
