Up for sale is a 1976 BMW 2002 in fair condition. The car was purchased from the original owners estate with the intention to restore, however the lack of garage space and time has forced the sale. The car is in original condition with the exception of the paint job. The original color was green (as seen by the pictures). The car has 94,378 miles and a functional factory sunroof. Recent service to the car includes a new fuel tank and filler neck,water pump,four new tires,inner and outer tie rods,front end alignment,tune-up and oil change. The car needs a new pedal box and adjacent floor pan rust repair. There is also rust damage at the D/S rear floor and P/S rear shock tower. The pictures show all rust damage and condition of the body. The engine is strong and quiet. The clutch and brakes appear in good working condition, however the rusted-out pedal box does not support the pivot shaft (clutch and brake) required for safe driving. I have only driven the car short distances in order to inspect the driving and handling and everything works great. The car could be made into a nice daily driver with little work or a full restoration due to the original condition. All original owner's manual,factory invoice and service records included.
