Hello thanks for looking up for auction is a 2 owner 1955 Thunderbird . This bird started out as a Black car with Black & white interior.It comes with the removable hardtop only,there is no soft top but they can be purchased new.It has power steering, electric seat and electric windows. This bird was converted to 12 volt all guages and electrical work well with no problems I purchased this car from the second owner who has had it since 1970, with the plan to repaint it and resell but do not have the time or money to make it happen. I drive it reguarly it is current on its registration and Insurance. I took it to Baldys restorations (a well known so cal shop) and had them evaluate it and was happily surprised to find out what it would take for restoration.when I purchased it the past owner gave me all reciepts they showed the following; engine upgraded to 312 freshly rebuilt less than 800 miles. trans completely overhauled these 2 items alone cost over 11k. All body panels look orig no signs of anything more then dings and minor scrapes. looks like 1 repaint to its current yellow. This cars runs and drives well , I would not hesitate taking it on a long trip. the only thing I am aware of is the carb and the air cleaner are incorrect. This car has a very clean dry and rust free undercarriage not any scale or even surface rust. drive as it is or repaint and polish it. either way its a strong runner.I hope covered it all if you have any questions or would like to inspect let me know and I will arrange it .
