Vehicle Detail
This is a NO RESERVE auction so bid to win because the highest bidder will win this better than great truck!!!!! Up for consideration today is an amazing running 2001 Ford F-350 Crew Cab with the amazing 7.3 liter power stroke turbo diesel engine with only 204,000 miles on it (which is low for this engine but you already know that if you're looking at this truck). It was originally owned and maintained by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation which is one of the reasons that it was maintained so well and runs so good. The other reason is the best engine ever put in Ford trucks, the powerful, dependable, and yes amazing 7.3 liter power stroke turbo diesel. The engine and transmission both run and shift perfectly with no problems at all. The brakes are older but are still in good working condition (if the bid goes over $5,500 I'll have new front and rear brakes put on for you). The tires are in okay condition. The front tires are in better shape than the back ones but the alignment is a little off so the front left tire is a little worn on the inside tread. The back tires are marginal but once again, if the bid goes over $5,500 I'll get some better (but only have about 70% tread remaining) tires put on for you. The body is in good (near great) condition but has a couple small dents (one at the drivers door where it looks like someone tried to pry the door open at some point, see picture) but nothing major. There are a couple small holes on the driver's side fender where the GPS antenna used to be mounted (see pictures again). The utility body is made out of fiber glass and aluminum which will never rust out and is in good shape (all the doors close and lock). This truck has a couple of small surface rust areas around the windows as you can see in the pictures but nothing that is bad at all. The interior is the standard truck interior and is in pretty good shape (one small crack in the front bench seat) and the dash is in good shape with a special hole cut in the front panel for something that PennDOT must have had mounted there. The am/fm radio works fine with no problems. The heat works great. I can't vouch for the a/c because it's so cold out right now I can't tell if it's blowing ice cold because of the a/c working so good or if it's just that cold outside right now. It has manual windows and door locks. It does have power mirrors. If you have any questions please feel free to email them to me and I will get you an answer if I can. This is a great running truck. If you are the winning bidder a deposit of $500 will be required within 2 days of the close of the auction or the item will be relisted. If you bid, win, and do not pay you WILL receive negative feedback so bid to win but only if you are planning on paying. If you have feedback of less than 10 please email me so I know not to cancel your bid because I have had someone with less than 3 win several vehicles in the last couple years and then not pay and then I have to re-list the item. Sorry if the terms seem harsh but this is a legal and binding contract and I want to do business with someone who intends to keep up their end of the agreement. Truck is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the listing early.
