ORIGINAL1960 MORRIS MINI 850 MK 1 Rust free original 3 owner Morris Mini 850 MK 1 from NZ. Very nice example of one of the early Morris MK 1 Minis. This is a rust free Mini in need of a better paint job. The existing paint job is obviously a few years old and does not look like it was a high dollar job. A good repaint would really enhance the value of this 50+ year old Mini. The interior is not original due to the seats having been redone in cloth some time back. New original reproduction seat covers are avalable in the UK from Newton Commercial. You can google the name and find their website. They have the best product for the money. The 848cc motor runs great, does not make any unusual noises, run hot or smoke. The 4 speed transmission shifts smoothly, does not make any unusual noises or jump out of any gear. The clutch and brakes function properly as well. this is a great running & driving original Mini with a very reasonable reserve price that I will not devulge, so please don't ask. Bid what you are able to pay and you will see the reserve is very realistic for a Mini as nice as this. The Mini is presently on the original NZ documents, but I can get the buyer a clear SC title if requested. There is no extra charge to get an SC title. High bidder must send a $500 deposit by Paypal within 24 hours of end of listing. The balance of the sale price must be received by me within 3 days of end of listing, in the form of a bank cashier's check, sent overnite to ensure a timely delivery and for tracking purposes.
