Up for bids: 1928 Dodge Rat Rod Pickup Truck This is the beginnings of a great little hot rod/ rat rod pickup truck. It started with a '51 Chevy truck frame that was sent to Fatman Suspension to have one of their independent tubular A arm front suspensions with power rack & pinion installed. Front brakes are GM disc units with power assist and a proportioning valve block. The rear suspension is a Corvette independent rear installed using a pre-fab'ed bracket kit. 17" American Racing Torque Thrust wheels were bolted on with brand new tires. The body is a 1929 Dodge that's been sliced & diced/chopped & dropped- much metalwork completed- some to go. The broad strokes are done- stance looks great- just needs finish work. The motor is a LT1 350 Chevy, 100% rebuilt by IHRA World Record holder Deat Buchner. It's 10.5:1 compression with 202 heads and a 292 competition cam. Has high-volume oil pump and roller rockers. The manifold is a Offenhauser 360 dual 4-barrel setup. Not shown but included with truck is 2 fully rebuilt AFB carbs with linkage. Attached to the motor is a GM Turbo 350 auto transmission with new torque converter. Some other included items are a brand new Speedway Motors power window tracks kit, and original windshield and hood. Car has clear NC title. This is a killer 'lil rat-rod that you can easily finish this winter. Priced to move- our reserve is far less than what the motor & trans alone should bring!
