up for sale is my 96 savana conversion van. this van is in very nice shape, has high miles, but runs like a top, uses no oil, trans is strong and shifts perfectly, previous owner pulled a camper and had a high flow cooling system installed, so trans/engine never got hot, i just had to install oe thermostat cause it ran so cool. i purchased this with the intent on making it my main vehicle, but have since taken a job with a fifty mile one way commute. i love this van, but it's just not practical for me and my family. the wife wont drive it so it sits in the garage all week and we get groceries with it on the weekends. it has a built in tv/vcr two stereo systems, overhead lighting, seven passenger with two passenger seats removable for storage, all wood grain trim, brand new tires. one door hinge is broken for the rear side cargo door, i never use the door, it's not needed for general in and out use, but it still works, fixed a few spots of rust where the ground effects mount to the sides, has a full tow package. can't really think of what else to include, will have clean and clear title in hand when van is picked up. let me know a couple of days ahead of time and i'll get it all cleaned up and ready to go. please ask questions. email me if youd like to come look at it. i'm located near wisconsin rapids, go to wausau every day and can drive it to show it. keep in mind this van is fifteen years old, it's not perfect, but with the high miles and year, it's in real nice shape, so if you have any concerns, PLEASE ask before buying. thanks for looking. I know the pictures are bad, if your interested, i can email better ones to you, i'll try to get some more added laterOn Dec-22-10 at 19:00:16 PST, seller added the following information: Ok so i've had a few questions as to the rust being fixed and the broken door hinge. i added a few pictures, in the pictures, you'll notice a black stripe a few inches above the lower moulding of the doors. there were a few small spots of surface rust in this area. i removed all the mouldings, cleaned all the rust and just did a stripe all the way on both sides. i also did the bottom of the rear doors, and the front bumper cover. you'll notice in one of the pics, some of the clear is peeling on the lower mouldings. the pic shows about the worst of it, it's not bad, but should be noted, there are also a couple of cracks in the lower moulding on the driver's side. they are plastic and could easily be fixed if wanted. the picture shows the broken door hinge. it's cracked, could be welded. i was going to buy a hinge, never got around to it. for going in and out of the van, you'd never use that door, if you wanted to load cargo into the side of the van, maybe would want to fix it. hope this answers some questions. feel free to ask more.
