1983 AMC Eagle Wagon 4x4. This car is in great shape and has only 54,000 miles!! It is an Iowa car originally and has almost no rust at all! The paint is in incredible shape and shines. Underneath there is no rot at all...very little surface rust and very clean for the age. The motor is a 258 inline six but it is not the original motor, it is a late 70's 258 that a previous owner installed about four years ago. The motor has about 60k or 70k miles on it, and it runs great with no issues. The carburetor was rebuilt this summer, but is still just a bit cold blooded when its really cold outside. The interior is in decent shape and is a light tan color with no rips on the seats, just a little wear in the carpet. The only issue with that motor swap was some of the vacuum lines were not hooked up and the 4 wheel drive works fine, but the dash shifter isn't hooked up to the right vacuum now. You can manually put the t-case in 4wd and it works great, just needs the vacuum line traced and hooked up properly. There is a Aftermarket stereo installed as well. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere, that being said it is 27 years old, but in great shape. New rotors and shoes were put on last summer. This is an all around great Eagle with no rust and extremely low miles!! I'm selling with no reserve!! After listing it, I noticed that there is a discrepancy with the title check, the title shows that the car has 65,000 miles but the car has 54,000. The previous owner did not have the car to check miles when they applied for a lost title and that was their guess. But the 54000 the car shows is correct!
