1969 Honda Mini Trail Z50A K1 Candy Red/Silver. Just completed, 100% restored Honda Mini Trail Z50A with original motor. This bike has been completely disassembled bead blasted, primed and repainted to factory colors! Every nut, bolt and screw has been restored/replated or replaced to OEM. I have over $5,500 invested in bike for parts and labor. It took many hours to complete for a 100% restore. The paint alone was over $350 (House of Kolor candy red) not counting the labor. The paint is a 3 coat candy red paint job. Base color of silver, candy red, then multiple coats of clear. Was/is a California bike so it was never rusted out. Partial listing of was was done to this bike: Complete professional engine rebuild. New seals all, rings, engine bolt & rebuild kit, stator, carb rebuild, every part bead blasted, primed and repainted honda OEM silver or new. All critical dimensions inspected to Mfg specs. Frame and bike: New chain, handle bars, cables (oem color gray) grips, seat cover and foam, lights, tires, kick stand all chrome replaced or replated. Battery (new, never had electrolyte inside) with original style red top. Original gas tank with new emblems and cap. Even has Upgraded Chrome rims, and comes with restored OEM silver rims All the details are too numerous to list. Yes, this bike is likely way better than new.
