You are bidding on a 1966 Volkswagon Westfalia , split windshield , twelve volt system.Vehicle originated in Santa barbara , Ca has spent the last 15 years in colorado. Vehicle has newer engine 1914 , transmission , carburator , tie rod ends , shocks and tires all within the last 2,500 miles. Frame is straight - no accidents. No major rust any where , some minor surface rust. under carriage is straight with minor rust issues. Exterior : Needs some handles and latches , also front emblem.One cracked windshield. Needs one new set of louvered windows.Pop up needs a new rubber gasket seal. Paint is in good condition - not sure if it's original. Interior is Westfalia Camper , and it needs work . Cabinets are ok , but as stated interior NEEDS WORK all cosmetic as with the exterior. This is a late model 1966 with the split windshield that was built to 1967 spec's with the first twelve volt system , a true collectors.Happy bidding and please contact me with any questions .
