Each vehicle is listed exactly how it comes through auction. I personally test drive each vehicle and describe how it looks, runs and drives honestly and to the best of my ability. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1996 GMC Jimmy SLT. This one is here just in time for the snow! This is a good looking truck for the most part. There is a spot on the hood where the clear coat has started coming off. The rear bumper looks like it got nailed pretty good, too. Other than those two things, this is a good looking truck. The paint shines nice and there is NO RUST. All the glass is in tact. The tires all have great rubber left, too. Look at the photos to see how she looks. Inside, this is one of the cleanest 96's I've ever come accross. The carpets are clean throughout. The leather seats are very clean. There are no rips, holes or stains on the seats. This truck is equipped with power drivers seat, power windows, locks and mirrors. The factory remote entry still works. The sound system in this truck sounds great. I'm not sure what's in it but I've never heard factory speakers this crisp. There is a CD player up front and what looks to be a changer in the back with remote. There is some other gizmo that looks to be related to the stereo but I don'tknow what it does. There also appears to be a radar detector installed but I don't know how to work it. For some reason, I can't get the rear to open. I don't think it has anything to do with the shot to the rear because the glass opens separately from the bottom portion. I can't get it to open with the inside button, outside button or the remote. I've never seen one of those poppers go bad but I suppose it's not impossible. The original owners manual is in its factory holder, too. Mechanically this truck has no issues. It starts right up and runs smoothly. It doesn't smoke or leak any fluids that I can see. The transmission engages and shifts smoothly. Driving down the road, this truck drives nice and tight. The suspension, brakes and steering are tight like they should be. It has a good PA safety and emissions inspection through July, 2011! I buy these trucks whenever I can. They are very simple and easy to maintain. The 4.3L vortec engine makes plenty of power. Nothing really goes wrong with them and they last forever. My wife drives a 4.3L Bravada (second one). I have probably sold over a half dozen of these trucks in the last few months. If you live in the Northeast/MidAtlantic, don't forget what last winter was like! Don't be that tool that needs a ride every time it snows.
