Rx-7 gxl rolling chassis,no engine or transmission. This is a one owner car that my father bought in 1987. It has been garage kept for more than 20 years of its 23 years and was professionally maintained by a rotary specialist in Garland, TX. The engine and transmission have been removed and the engine bay completely degreased and cleaned. The shift knob and all bezels around the stereo and shifter are in great shape and are in the backend of the car until an engine and transmission are installed by the new owner. The frame has 160k on it but most of the mechanical items that wear out over time have been replaced along the way. The engine overheated as a result of a leak in the heater hose. It was later discovered that the water level sensor was bad and did not show any warning signs. The car has the original leather interior in very good shape. The dash has no cracks and the drivers seat has slight wear. The car has great brake pads, tokico shocks with less than 50k on them, new tires w/ less than 4k on them. I recently painted the car bright white to resemble the 88 anniversary edition RX7 and painted the engine bay gloss black with high temperature paint. I planned on installing a turbo II engine and transmission that JDM sells for $1499 which includes the ecu and wire harnesses along with the engine and transmission. However, my wife just bought a new cx9 and wants one of my projects out of the garage. This car would make a great car for a new driver, made into a drag car, made into a drift car or sold off piece by piece. Just add the engine and trans and it is ready to go. The driveshaft is still with the car. I have the clear title to the car and it has never been wrecked. there are just a few minor dings that are on the body. My reserve is a little lower than the buy it now price. I just need the room in my garage.
