Vehicle Detail

***This car just came off of a reserve auction where it missed the reserve by a couple hundred dollars, so I am offering it this time around with NO RESERVE and a starting bid of only $1.00!! This is MY car, it is titled in MY name, the title is in MY hand and it is currently insured with State Farm and tagged in MY home state of South Carolina, this is a running driving car and is used on pretty weekends, I did not try to hide the license plate or any of the actual title info, (see the pictures) because....I am a hard working, honest guy who lives paycheck to paychek like most everyone else and I am only selling this car to give my family the BEST Christmas ever! If the reserve is not met, then I will hold onto the car! I wanted to get that out of the way, now onto the car.... First of all, I want to apologize for the pictures and low light, since I work outside, I only have the day off if it is raining, ....so I am sure some of you hard working guys out there understand that. The pictures were taken between downpours so the quality isn't the best but if the sun was out....then I would have been at work instead of at home!! Recently restored 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe with a great running 200 straight six cylinder and automatic tranny, I have been working on this car for the last 3+ years, I have done tons of work to the car, I replaced the entire floor pan, both sides although I could have only pieced in some new metal in a couple places and would have been fine. I have pictures of this car from when I first bought it almost 4 years ago, and pictures of all the work done, it was quite solid then but needed a little work....well a little work turned into 3 + years of work. The quarters were workable but I decided to replace the lower quarters on both sides so there would be very little body work for the car to be straight. Once all the metal work and mechanical work was done, I sprayed the factory Tropical Turquoise paint to the car, the paint job is not perfect, there are a couple very minor imperfections, but overall a very nice paint job! I installed all new brakes including a brand new master cylinder from Mustangs Unlimited, in fact all the new parts came from MU! New bumpers front and rear, new bumperettes, new running horse emblems, new FORD scripts on the hood, all new weatherstripping, in fact every single piece of weatherstripping has been replaced except for the door window felts and the vent window rubber! The interior is in really good shape except for a couple minor tears in the drivers seat which will happen over time, the headliner is intalled but needs to be tightened up. The instrument cluster works but some of the lights do not, I have not had time to check into it. The tires are OK but should be replaced when you get the car home, the wheels are American Racing Directional Spokes. Once again, this is a really nice driver quality car, I have never been ashamed to drive it! Ask any questions, and since I am a working man, do not expect a response until I get home from work. I work from daylight to dark, so I will return emails when I get home! I expect CASH on the barrel head when the car is picked up, as it took cash to build the car. Also, I need a $500.00 deposit sent via Paypal within 24 hours of the auctions close. If you can't pick up the car until after Christmas, that is OK, it is safe where it is, Thanks and Good Luck!! Dennis Mann On Dec-01-10 at 18:47:01 PST, seller added the following information: **As most of you have noticed, the car is equipped with A/C, I am not sure if it was a factory install or a dealer install, but as you can see the compressor is there, along with the evaporator, the condensor was trashed so I removed it, I DO have the original under dash unit and it IS included in the sale of the car, it is in OK shape, obviously the A/C does not work, but all the hard to find 6-cylinder brackets and plumbing is there. **The entire engine compartment and underside of the hood and deck lid, along with the door panels and rear interior panels are painted with POR-15 Gloss Black, this stuff is great and is guarenteed not to tarnish or rust from the manufacturer. **I have new rubber gaskets for the park lights on the front fascia for the car, I just have not installed them yet, but they will be installed this weekend. **The speedometer works, but the other guages in the instrument cluster do not, I had planned on replacing the instrument with a new one from Mustangs Unlimited. **I plan to take a video of me driving the car this weekend provided the weather in nice, also I am adding a link to my photobucket account so you can see the work done to the car. On Dec-01-10 at 18:50:54 PST, seller added the following information: **The car had a full tune up about 2 months ago, with 6 new plugs, new wires, new rotor cap and points, the oil was changed, the tranny fluid was changed and the rear end fluid was topped off.
