Vehicle Detail
2002 Ford F350 Lariat Crew Cab Diesel 4x4 SRW Long bed If you are looking for a nice truck, look no further. Jut like our 3 year old says, this is a Monster Truck! Truck has a Salvage Rebuildable Title due to fresh water damage/flood. If it had a clean title, Blue Book value is set at $21,295. It's unbelievable how these 7.3's never go down in price. Here's your chance to get a great custom truck for a lot less! Please read the description carefully as we did to include all information we have about the truck. If you have any further questions, feel free to email us and leave a number so we will call you back. We sell trucks locally so we may reserve the right to end the auction at any time. FEATURES 82650 not actual miles Gray metalic exterior Lariat gray leather interior 7.3 Power Stroke Turbo Diesel V8 Engine Automatic transmission 4x4 Crew cab SRW long bed Power seats Power windows Power door locks Tilt wheel AC AM/FM/CD Player Cruise Control Towing package Custom running boards Toolbox Big muscle for big jobs. Engine has lots of power and sounds very healthy. The transmission is near flawless and shift very smooth. No leaks, no smoke, no warning lights on the gauge. It drives very straight, and responds nicely to all commands. Tires are in good condition. All the room you need. Spacious interior and comfortable seats. Interior is in excellent condition. AC blows ice cold (Ford has the best AC's in the business), heat works great on this cold FL weather. All power mirrors, doors, windows work. Radio/CD player works but we thing the stock Ford ones look much nicer on the dash. No damage on the carpet or on the leather seats. What we did We got the truck straight from the insurance company. It was already lifted when we got it, and these tires/rims you see were already on the truck. We completely cleaned the truck and upgraded the interior with seats, door panels and carpet from a 2005 F250 Lariat (truck was originally an XLT with cloth seats). The dash is original, however, we had to replace the gauge because the original one that was reading 164732 did not work after the turn the truck. We also wanted to upgrade the truck to look like a 2005/2007 model, so we replaced the plain mirrors for ones that have signal lights on them, the front bumper and grille are brand new from the ford dealer. The headlights and header panel are also new. Now, under the hood...we rebuilt the engine using all gasket kits, rings from the ford dealer. There's nothing aftermarket on that engine. Everything was cleaned and checked before putting it together. The transmission was also rebuilt by a professional. When we first started the truck we were all excited. It was so loud even the guys next door came to check where all that noise was coming from. I can say that the engine is as big, strong and loud as the truck looks like - no wonder we call it monster truck. So after everything was nice and running, we took it to the ford dealer and they told us to replace the gauge because the one that was in was no good and the only one we found that had the same numbers was this one that's now on the truck that reads 82650 miles. We fix our trucks right in such a way that if we do not sell it, we just keep it for a while and have no problems driving them. This way we can assure we are delivering the best truck that we can and you can drive safe and pleased with what you got. There's no rust on this truck, it looks clean under the hood, inside and out. Ask anyone that drives a truck for a living or even the ford tech guys and they will tell you, the 7.3 is the best and most reliable engine Ford ever had. There's no secrets to this truck, it will go through anything and they even call it military truck! We had a 7.3 years ago that we abused with heavy weight and machinery towing every day on a construction business. By the time we sold the truck with 450000 miles, the only thing we really spent money on was a turbo when truck has 300k miles. Other than that, good maintenance was the secret for the high mileage. Salvage is the way to go when you don't want to pay big bucks for a truck and not loose a lot of money when you sell it. We get a lot of compliments on this truck from everybody that sees it. ***** There's plenty of pictures for you to see at http://www.flickr.com/photos/39947792@N03/sets/72157625552888528 Truck is located in Orlando, FL and we can ship it anywhere in the US for a super low price - email us with your zip code for a quote. SALVAGE FACTS If you are considering buying a salvage vehicle but not sure how it works, here is some step-by-step info we put together to help you out. Remember that laws change from state to state, but this is pretty standard for all Motor Vehicle Departments. There are some states, however, that will give you a clean title after the truck passes the inspection. For further info, visit your local DMV website or give them a call. Step 1 Once you receive your vehicle, save the receipts for the parts used and labor involved on repairing the truck. Step 2 Contact your local DMV to schedule a salvage inspection. Step 3 By the time of inspection, you will have to fill out a DMV form with the vehicle information and list all major parts/components replaced on the vehicle and attach the receipts. Step 4 Once the vehicle passes inspection, you can go and register it just like any other vehicle. In most states you will receive a rebuilt salvage title, but in some states, you may even get a clean title afterwards. Check your local DMV for details. On Dec-08-10 at 19:10:26 PST, seller added the following information: The truck looks a little dirty on the pictures, but don't let it fool you. I'm having it detailed before the auction is over and will give it sparkly clean. I feel that this F350 is a crowd pleaser. Everyone that looks at it don't just look, they stare at the truck - it's a show stopper! It's high, it's loud, it's mean. It looks just like it sounds - simply awesome! Forgot to mention that all electronic components of the truck were replaced, not because they all were bad, but just to avoid future problems. I paid $900 to Tropical Ford to install and reprogram a brand new ECM (computer). The exterior paint is in excellent shape - no chips. We did this truck with the intention to keep it, but we just had a new baby and truth is, truck is too high for us, so we will stick with an Excursion.
