This is a 1971 VW Fastback stick shift that is pretty complete and clean with fuel injection and RUNS. It has its original paint and seats. The engine was rebuilt in June of 07 at a cost of $2047.84. It has been sitting in our garage since early 09 and not driven. The odometer does not work so we can’t tell how many miles has been put on the new engine, but it was drove mostly local. Just this week we took it to a VW mechanic and had minor repairs and a tune up done. The engine starts. The car handles good on the road. The transaxle is good. The steering is good. All lights work. The brakes work real good. The heater works and it has a new battery, spark plugs, plug wires, rotor, oil, and points. Original Volkswagen Maintenance Record found in car.
