It is nearly P E R F E C T and then it dawns on you... This IS the condition of the car, with just a few thousand miles on it (est. by a collector of concourse vehicles 30K?) - Living it's whole life on showroom floors and a shared ownership between two gentlemen since new, this Porsche has been driven VERY LITTLE. That makes it a true treasure to be found some 38yrs later. Parked in storage for the last 26yrs and just recently (August 2010) brought back to life! If you know and like these cars, you will FLIP OUT when you see and drive this one. Who said 914's weren't fast? Balance and blue print one, bolt on dual carburetors that could suck a bird from the sky and they sure as hell are! Sounds amazing and gargles at 5000rpm! This little wonder has been sitting in a climate controlled garage and not started since 1985! We have since flushed, cleaned and replaced everything necessary to breath the life back into this little race car! We have all the factory heat exchangers, Fuel injection fan and oil coolers. The factory tiny brakes have been updated with 911S Hubs, Brakes and Full Suspension! (all bolt right on) The Wheels are RACE issue (Euro Only) that the original owner had a contact in Germany to get him a set. YOU WILL NEVER SEE THEM ANYWHERE. This is a VERY RARE, timeless and current, factory color combination of Alpine White with Black interior!!! With a 5spd!!! You just have to see it to believe it!!! As you know they all have rust, home made conversions and lots of "non-original / wrong" parts. Well, not this one- RUST FREE- Even the problem areas are clear. As many older Porsches share the non turning ODO, this one doesn't turn either. We have seen "similar cars" recently sell between $25- $40K - Without a doubt... This is the nicest you're ever going to have the opportunity to purchase for a very reasonable price. These just don't exist anymore and please, show me another of this condition/caliber for similar money?
