I have owned this Ranchero since 2003, bought at a local charity auction. It is currently registered with a clear Colorado title in hand. I will try to give you an honest description of this vehicle. The 351 M motor and C-6 transmission are original, motor runs but it is weak, needs work, trans shifts but needs service, maybe rebuilt. Original AC unit is there, but needs charging. Aftermarket Chrome air cleaner and valve covers, New altenator. Rear end is geared low, probably 350's Brakes were new less than 2-K on them, probably will need master cylinder soon, spongy brakes.New windsheild in 07, one minor chip repair, older repaint, some cracking, chrome is faded, but all there. New carpet kit, comfortable leather flight seat out of 78 T-bird, black dash pad is lightly cracked some rust repair will be needed on the rear floor pans. Needs headliner, gas gauge is not working. 15 inch steel whees from 70 LTD, tires have good tread, but are old, Ranchero GT dog dish caps. Inside bed of the truck has been painted black, chrome and all trim removed, some cracking. Rare sliding rear window. Power steering hose leaks, needs to be replaced. Has air shocks in rear and original exhaust system. This truck could be driven home locally, runs and drives, over 25 miles bring a trailer.
