Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I am a licensed wholesaler offering trade in and off lease vehicles directly to the public. I personally drive each vehicle prior to listing it and describe it with complete honesty. Some cars are perfect, some cars will have issues that will need attention. You will be bidding on each vehicle exactly how I receive it so you are basically buying it the same way a dealer would except I give a detailed description of how the car looks, runs and drives. Buying a car this way can save you thousands over giong to a car lot. I strive to provide excellent service and make buying a car as easy as I can but please keep your expectations realistic. Since I list everything NO RESERVE I don't have a huge amount of mark up to cover reconditioning and making every car perfect. Please read the entire description thoroughly and ask any questions you have before bidding. I spend $0 on fixing cars unless I feel they are unsafe or unreliable. Buying a car from me is about as close to wholesale as an unlicensed individual will ever get. Good luck bidding! Up for auction today we have a 2000 Mercury Sable LS. It is in pretty good shape for the miles. Walking around the outside you will see that the paint shines well from front to back! The front bumper cover is cracked on both sides as shown in the photos. There are a few marks on the rear bumper as well from everyday use. Please see the photos. It is PA inspected for safety and emissions through 4/11. The interior is pretty clean, too. The seats are comfortable and don't have any rips of holes in them. The carpets and headliner are also in great condition. There is some material on three of four door panels that has come off (see photos). This Mercury is equipped with power windows, power locks, power seats and power/heated mirrors. The stereo sounds great! The truck in large and clean and is fully equipped with spare tire and jack. The rear seats fold down to allow for extra storage, too. The tires have good rubber left. All and all this is a good looking car! Mechanically this car is in pretty good shape. The belt is squeeky most of the time. The engine fires right up and runs well. It does not smoke, overheat or leak any fluids that I have seen. There is no tapping or knocking at all. The engine makes great power and accellerates the car without effort. The transmission is in perfect working condition. It engages smoothly and shifts are precise and proper. The brakes and suspension are all in good working order. The car drives very well. The brake light is on but the brakes are nice and firm and stop the car quickly and without issue. There is no shaking or vibration while driving. At highway speeds this car pulls very, very slightly to the left if you let off the wheel but it doesn't fight or anything to go strait. When you first start driving it, the steering wheel makes a wierd sound. I'm not sure what to make of it. I have driven it over 100 miles over the last three days and it drives fine. I have not been able to unlock the car using the drivers door. Maybe I am an idiot but I have been unlocking it at the passenger side. Overall this is a great car. It has some minor issues from age but should have lots of life left in it. It was sold and serviced at a local Lincoln/Mercury dealership in Central PA. All sales are subject to a $99 administrative fee. I am happy to pick the winning bidder up at either BWI, MDT or the local Greyhound station here in York, PA...just please coordinate your arrival with me as I do have committments throughout the daytime hours. this is a great car for the money and should give thousands of trouble free miles to the next owner at a very reasonable price.
