Here is a MINT 1993 Geo Metro 5 speed 3 cylinder hatchback with only 80K orignial miles. New clutch, motor mounts, timing belt, water pump, all new belts and hoses and a new battery to boot. I usually sell them for a car dealer in Phoenix under the Ebay user ID lattyandsons or geometroseller. From time to time I may personally stumble across one locally and give it a go on my own. This Geo's windows were recently tinted. It has good emissions for the next 18 months. The tires are good, not brand new though. The axles don't click, rides down the road excellent, transmission shifts as it should, clutch feels brand new, as it is, A/C is ice cold, and heat is toasty, AM/FM standard Geo radio works as it should. The previous owner took car of it meticulously. He's driven it to Mexico and back 4 times and said it cost him $30 is gas each time. Now's the time to own this gas miser. I have personally owned about 8-10 Geo's and this car can get between 45 - 50 MPG depending on how you drive it. Glass is excellent, dash is excellent, and so are the seat and interior. This also is a non-smoker. All lights, blinkers, etc work, as they should. This is a clear Arizona "A" title with now history of accidents on the car fax report. Here are a few things to mention on the car that I have found: The seat belt light stays on, even when seat belts are fastened. I am not sure why. This car does not have airbags, so it's not airbag related. The belts are fastened tight. The paint is nice and shiny, but the car could use a good buff to bring out the original shine. This car must have been garaged, as the interior, although an Arizona car shows no sun fade. The back bumper must have been replaced on this gem, as the paint that is pealing shows it to be teal. The body is straight and shows now signs of a repaint or previous damage. The front bumper has some scuffs here and there, see photos. When braking hard the car vibrates. I believe it either needs the rotors turned or replaced. I will have this looked into before the auction ends and have a solution. The repair will be made if the reserve is met. On Dec-06-10 at 16:45:44 PST, seller added the following information: Geo update: Okay, I took the car to my mechanic and he told me the brakes and rotors are fine on this car. He said the vibration is from the tires, so here's the deal, I will put 4 brand new tires on the car if the reserve is met. It's very close to being met, by the way. A fresh oil change has also just been done. The previous owner was meticulous on oil changes, every 3000 miles. Also, my paint guy can paint the front and back bumper for $75 extra if you wish, before the car is driven home. We will also provide some extra touch up paint to touch up the normal where and tear dings here and there on the car. Keep in mind the trips to the mechanic and tire shop require driving the car. I live 35 miles each way, so at the time the auction is over; the mileage may be just over 81,000. Just an FYI.
