This is an excellent example of a 1971 280 SL recently purchased from the estate of the 2nd owner who spent lots of time and money maintaining and improving this great running and great looking car. The 230,250, and 280 SL's never came with electric windows but they should have. This car has been equipped with electric windows that work very well and add to the comfort of driving. This is a solid SL with both tops and excellent interior. The mileage on the car is unknown. If you are looking for an SL take a good look at this one. Mechanics: Runs and drives great with no issues. Mechanics have been highly maintained. Heater controls appear to be new. Body: Undercarriage is in excellent condition. Paint looks great. Some chips and age marks but overall shows very well. Chrome: In very good condition with the exception of some blemishes on the right front bumper. Upholstery: In excellent condition with some cracks on dash. Convertible top is brand new. Rubber: Tires are as new. Seals are in good condition. Glass: All glass in excellent condition.
