The engine in this car is a 2.3L four cylinder that has plenty of punch for merging onto the Freeway and passing, yet it gets GREAT GAS MILEAGE. Our personal experience cruising 75mph on the freeway would net us 31-33mpg on average. We miss this mileage now that we have moved on to an SUV. City milege is listed as 26 miles per gallon. The car was just recently registered in California at the beginning of October and now has California plates on it. Registration is good for 1 year. The car is in perfect condition with no body damage or paint scratches except for a couple very small lines (see pictures) that are hardly noticeable unless you are really looking for them. Overall I say the car is in Excellent condition. This Mazda3 is the perfect car for a small family, a college student, or someone who commutes to work and wants a nice comfortable car with leather seats, but gets gas mileage comparable to a small Honda. The only thing I'd recommend you do to the car is tint the windows and you will be set. The car's bumper to bumper warranty is expired, but the 60 month/60,000 mile powertrain warranty is still in effect and fully transferable.
