This 2001 Ford Excursion has the much sought after 7.3L Turbo Diesel engine, and the 4X4 drivetrain. The SUV is spotless inside and out, and has been very well maintained, the mileage of the Vehicle in no way reflects the condition it is in. The motor runs strong, with no unusual smoking or rough idle of any type. The transmission shifts just like it should as does the 4X4 engages and operates smoothly as well. The tires show some wear, and probably have around 20K miles left on them in my opinion, the wheels are in great shape and are the original OEM Ford Excursion wheels. The only real fault on the exterior is the rear gate shows some fading around the window opening on the black part - as seen in the close up pic taken below. The frame and Vehicle do not show any signs of rust or corrosion, this was a local purchase from a private owner here in LEE County Florida. This vehicle has not been abused, or used as a tow vehicle all of its life like many we see, this SUV is one of the few that we find that is in excellent condition with a strong Diesel engine and pristine interior qualities.
