1989 Honda Civic DX Hatchback 2nd Owner!!! 1.5L 4 cylinder SOHC Automatic Transmission Air Conditioning Pioneer CD Stereo Infinity Reference Series Speakers*** 37 miles per gallon!!! *** This was my personal vehicle and everyday driver for three years. It has been parked for about two years now and not driven, except when I moved into a new home 4 months ago. I have personally driven this car from Kentucky to Oregon and back. When I parked it the car got 37 miles per gallon. This car has never let me down and I truly believe it has a great deal of life left in it for the next owner. The engine is strong and the transmission shifts perfect. This vehicle does need new CV joints in the front and new brake shoes and drums in the back. The master cylinder may be leaking, I am not sure. The brakes are not holding pressure, but it could just be air in the lines. I would suggest a full tune up and replacement of the belts and hoses by the new owner because of the vehicle sitting. I replaced the alternator and battery about a month before parking the vehicle, but I don't think the battery will a hold a charge now from sitting. The car does run and drive. When I moved four months ago I drove the vehicle 20 miles to my new home. I had to jump the battery, but it started right up. Condition: Overall this vehicle is in great cosmetic shape for it's year and mileage. There is a slight dent on the bottom of the drivers side door and a light dent in the front of the hood. The drivers side seat is torn on one side of the seat from the fabric wearing. Features: 1.5L SOHC, Automatic Transmission, Air Conditioning, Pioneer CD Stereo, Infinity Reference Series Speakers. History: I have owned this vehicle for almost 5 years. I am the second owner of this vehicle. I purchased this vehicle from a dealer in Morehead, KY where it was traded in by the original owner. When I purchased this vehicle the dealer had just taken possession on it and had the original Kentucky title. Shipping and payment: Buyer is responsible for arranging shipping and picking up vehicle. A $500 deposit is required at auction ending with balance due within 7 days. Deposit must be paid via PayPal. Remaining payment must be made by cash in person, or via PayPal. Personal Checks, Business Checks, Cashiers Checks, and Money Orders will not be accepted!!! There will be no exceptions made. A bill of sale must be signed by both parties and notarized prior to taking possession of vehicle.
