Nearly a Barn Find! Actually, it's been sitting in the back of one of my pole buildings for about 15 years. It is a very restorable early-series Mini that is more-or-less in the same condition as when I bought it. Just one of many projects that I never got around to. Car is complete and solid in every regard, although the engine and trans are out (see separate pictures). I believe this was originally an 850 Mini, but the engine/trans assembly that came with it has a metal tag stamped "1100" on the side of the block. Car comes as you see it in the pictures and has almost everything needed to make it whole again. The windshield in the car is cracked, but it comes with a full, intact replacement. It has 10 inch wheels and tires and the shock absorbers are telescopic/tubular. All windows are in fine condition and all the latches work. The hood has been adapted to be removeable with two pin-type hood hold downs at the rear and two fold-over latches in the front. I believe that the rear seat is original, but the two front seats appear to be from a later-type MG 1100 or Austin America. They are not currently fastened down. The pictures are only representative of the considerable spares that come with the car. I presume that the engine/trans were taken out for rebuilding. The car is primer painted to stop any surface rust from forming, not because it is ready for painting. The title says the car is a 1961 Austin Series 85H Model 850 with serial number 46873 Happy Bidding!
